Virsae appoints Charles Carlos to lead US sales team
Auckland, 5 March 2020 – Virsae, a provider of cloud-based UC management services, has appointed Charles Carlos as VP Sales for North America, responsible for spearheading sales of Virsae’s AI-powered analytics and diagnostics platform Virsae Service Management (VSM).
Charles brings more than 20 years’ experience in technical sales and leadership. He most recently held the position of Sales Director at Windstream Enterprise – a Fortune 500 offering advanced networking and UC communication solutions. Earlier he managed ISVs for CenturyLink – a global provider of hybrid networking, cloud connectivity and security solutions; and Sprint, where he led regional expansion efforts for Sprint Business.
As well as driving client acquisition, Charles will oversee sales to Virsae’s growing portfolio of blue-chip partners. His appointment follows a golden patch for Virsae, including a string of new sales to enterprise clients and ICT service providers, most recently San Francisco-headquartered Vox Network Solutions.
Virsae CEO Tony Jayne said the appointment added momentum to the company’s growing presence in the billion-dollar market for UC management services.
“As competitors retrofit applications for cloud delivery, Virsae has surged ahead with a cloud-native platform combining big data, machine learning and AI, to continuously provide insight from more than twelve billion CX data points analyzed every month,” he said. “That means that every day our clients get smarter at managing their UC and CC platforms based on global learning from a rapidly expanding customer base.”
With offices in New Zealand, the USA and UK, Virsae ranked 238th in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ Asia Pacific and 39th in the Deloitte Fast 50 New Zealand. VSM has also scooped industry awards, including Emerging Exporter of the Year award, Microsoft ISV of the Year, and ICT Industry Awards.
